2011 Annual Branch Dinner
The Branch Annual Dinner will be held at our usual venue, the Eldonian Village Centre, Vauxhall, Liverpool, on Saturday the 19th February 2011. It is hoped that our President, Vice-Admiral Paul Lambert CB can attend, and Captain John Edgell OBE, Chief of Staff/Captain Submarines (Plymouth) has been sent an invitation asking him to attend as our guest of honour. We await replies from both these serving gentlemen, as much will depend on operational demands as to their availability to attend. Tickets are now available from Dave Palmer at a very slightly increased but still reasonable price of £26 per head. This includes dinner, wine, port, your tot and the evening’s entertainment. Past experience has shown that the Eldonian staff always ensure we get 5 star treatment and the cuisine and wines are always first rate making it a very special occasion for submariner’s and our guests. Come February just the night out needed to chase away your winter blues.
